Texas Saloon by Buffalo Bill is a restaurant with Texas cowboy theme, which is quite fitting for Pak Chong since Pak Chong is known as a “Cowboy city”. From the décor and the menu you can see that the restaurant is inspired by Texas Saloon. If you are in the mood for some decent stake or just want to dine Texas’s style Texas Saloon by Buffalo Bill is the place to stop when you are in Pak Chong or on your way to Khao Yai National Park
It began with a small shop that sells cowboy accessories and souvenirs named Buffalo Bill. Eventually it expanded and included a cowboy theme restaurant. Dining inside the arch canvas indoor roof that is kind of like hanging out in a fancy caravan wagon while checking out all the colorful stained glass ceiling lamps is quite amusing.
I like the wall decoration on this side. There are exterior windows right by a row of tables with bright tablecloths. Behind the window are a bunch of random things to look at which I enjoyed quite a bit.
The stained glass ceiling lamps are pretty cool, but I don’t know where they got all the tablecloths. There are just so many colors here and so many things to look at.
Let’s check out the menu.
The first is the sirloin stake. The chef uses sirloin from specially bred cattle, and it is good beef! This dish comes with varieties of sides like salad garlic bread some veggies and mashed potato, and all of these for ฿250; a pretty good deal for some good stake.
This is Texas Saloon’s pork chop. It also comes with salad, garlic bread, fries, some veggies and mashed potato: ฿200.
The third menu is snapper stake, it uses selection from large snapper. There are varieties of sauce to choose from rosemary, white wine, oregano, and café sauce. This menu is 200-250, I especially like this menu. I asked about the ingredient and there was just so many. The flavor is quite unusual for me, and I enjoyed it very much.
Pla nua ma kua poa is basically this style spicy beef salad. Like the ‘yum’ type dishes in Thai food, this dish is spicy and comes with many kinds of herbs. This menu is very good if you have a craving for something spicy: ฿100.
Pla kra pong pad kra pao krob is fried snapper with crunchy fried holy basil. If you’d tried and like pad kra pao which is a very common Thai dish, you should try it with battered snapper and crunchy holy basil: ฿ 150
I’m not a big fan of veggie but I enjoyed the fresh organic veggie that they use for the salad and sides. It was crunchy and refreshing, and they came very close to converting me to a veggie lover.
I ended with this delicious banana and ice cream. It is just basically a natural combination… good ice cream and good banana make awesome dessert.
They also have onion ring here too. It is just a fitting appetizer for this restaurant. They used imported flour for this and who can say no to onion ring any way.

This place looks very cool in the early evening. I especially like the decoration; there are so many things to look at. The chef is very serious about the ingredients and most are imported. They have nifty imported stuff like the silver ware wrappers and candies with the restaurant logo on them. The price is moderate and the atmosphere is unique and fun. If you are in Pak Chong and looing for a fun place to eat, stop by Texas Saloon by Buffalo Bill.
